Purpose and Values align
Amber Biesse and Matt Fitton’s journey began in 2016, when they moved to Vancouver to support their daughter's learning needs.
While living there, they discovered Nurse Next Door - a purpose-driven brand that aligned perfectly with their values. It felt like serendipity; they had moved to Vancouver to change their daughter’s life, and found a business dedicated to changing the lives of others. They knew immediately they had to bring the bold pink brand home to Australia.
Launching in Melbourne in 2019, under Amber & Matt's leadership the brand has since grown to over 70 locations around Australia and employs over 3000 caregivers and nurses.

Our experienced Care Designers are Registered Nurses and will evaluate your loved one’s needs during the initial complimentary Caring Consult. By getting to know your needs, they can reassess services as health and care requirements change over time.

We carefully select caregivers and nurses for their expertise and compassionate nature. For your peace of mind a rigorous screening and hiring process is followed. Our team are qualified, attentive and willing to go above and beyond.
24/7 Live Person Support
Our Care Services Support Team is available 24/7 so you can always speak to a live person. Whether that is to answer questions about your care, or to make a change to your schedule. The Care Services team monitors caregiver attendance and keeps you up to date with any changes.

How much does Nurse Next Door cost?
Nurse Next Door's services vary in price depending on the level of care required and the Nurse Next Door Care team that services your area. To get a better idea of pricing in your area, speak to one of our Care Services Specialists, we're open any time, 24/7.
We also offer a complimentary Caring Consult, during which one of our Care Designers, who is a Registered Nurse, will help you determine the amount of care you may require. We'll then work with you to balance your budget and needs and find a home care option for you.
You may also be eligible for Government Funding to help compensate with any finances.
Can I trial Nurse Next Door or do I have to sign a long-term contract?
You are not locked into a long-term contract as a Nurse Next Door client.

Are your home care services only for Aged Care?
No. We provide home care services to people of all ages. In addition to aged care, we provide home care services for disability support, post-operative care and more.

Will I have the same Care Team all the time?
At Nurse Next Door, we strive to provide consistent care with regularly assigned caregivers. If your Caregiver isn’t available, we will ensure a suitable replacement that meets your unique needs.
Does Nurse Next Door conduct a background check for Caregivers?
Yes, all Nurse Next Door Caregivers are carefully screened with police checks, vulnerable sector checks and reference checks. Prior to hiring we verify our Caregivers' credentials and experience. On an annual basis, we verify that every Nurse is registered and in good standing with The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
