Our family has used NND Newcastle for the last 3 years - whilst Mum was at home for in-home care and then into her transition to nursing home care. The care has been fantastic, it has enabled Mum in so many ways to continue to enjoy life whilst her abilities decline. Staff are warm, professional, adept at managing new situations and communicate back any concerns promptly. They have been our salvation knowing Mum has extra attention in facility care. We engaged Nurse Next Door to provide in-home support for my 89 year old much loved father-in-law, Werner. The services were very professionally delivered and we could not speak more highly of Kylie and her team who do a difficult job with empathy and dignity. As our loved ones age, it can be a daunting task to keep them at home for as long as possible and some outside care keeps them at home longer which is what they much prefer. We have just needed to move Werner into Jindalee Nursing Home but there is no doubt Nurse Next Door enabled this to be delayed as long as possible. Lauren and her lovely team of nurses went above and beyond for my client. He had oral surgery and required a registered nurse to look after him during the night. The nurses were exceptional, thorough, punctual, caring and handled the family dynamic very well. I will definitely recommend and use nurse next door again.
